Ok..lets get started….{ at the end of the project…you will have a TON of extras…that was my main goal for this kit club…to be able to do a project and then have leftovers for other things like layouts cards….anther mini book. and so-on…}
Prep work:
Ok so this is tricky when working with acrylic. I always lay my acrylic on a paper towel when I am working with it. It keeps it from getting scratched. You can also leave the protective layer on the backsides when working on the front side. This flower album contains 6 pages, 12 total front and back. You will need 10 photos. I used my creative memories circle cutter to trim up my photos. Ok, so choose 12 pattern papers and trim them into circles for the centers of the flowers. I sanded all my edges but you can also ink them. I did my album so it opens like a book from side to side. Once your circles are all done, adhere them onto each flower front and back. The easiest way to make sure you are lining them all up is to lay anther circle on top of the previous circle and use this as your guide. (Does that make sense).
Ok let’s get started!!!
Cover and back cover:
Supplies needed: covered flower, wet glue, and alpha stickers (small pink ones) wire butterfly, wet glue and glitter.
Adhere your title to the cover I chose “spring treats” …kind of catchy.
Once your title is adhered, glue dots your butterfly.
Take your wet glue and using a foam brush, swipe the glue around the edges of the flower and dip it into the glitter. SO PRETTY! ( you can repeat the glittering on each flower)
back cover: just make sure it matches the front cover ( the pattern paper)

Using glue dots adhere the carrot to the left side of the page. ( you can adhere rub-ons or ribbon to the carrot)
Take the thicker brackets and adhere them to the photo.
Take the stamped tag (again if you do not have this, you can easily make your own tag using stamps and doo-dahs and ribbon or fabric) and journal.
Page 10:
Supplies needed: covered flower, buttons, glitter paper with the bird on it and note paper.
Adhere your photo to the covered insert.
Using mini glue dote adhere your buttons all the way around the photo. ( I love doing this with buttons and we always give you LOTS)
Take the back side of the tag and tear some note paper and adhere it to the tag.
Using a xato knife cut out the glitter bird on the branch and pop dot it to the tag. This is a fun thing to do with big print papers is to cut out the images and pop dot them to create your own 3-d embellie.
YEA we are almost done…is your work space a mess…or are the ladies at your crop like WHAT no fare I want a already done spring album…well one thing is for sure I know you have glitter on yourself.
So now just layer all the pieces tags included and put the ring through them. Tie LOTS of ribbon and fabric to the ring and finish it off with cute glitter bunny. You will have to trim up the stick part, but is so flippin cute! Also remember when using acrylic you can also stamp onto it using a stazon just so you know… Well I hope you enjoy your projects as much as I LOVE to create them….and until next month….always create… **wait till you see next months kit***
