Happy Holiday! Can you believe the new year is almost here? I am thrilled to bring on a new year here at PDW. With all the changes we have been making the past few weeks, I know it is going to be a GREAT year. I owe all my thank you's to all of you for supporting PDW which why we are going to continue into the new year, so THANKYOU.

DECEMBER kit update...as of thursday the 11th i am still waiting on the tim holtz albums they were back ordered they are supposed to ship in the morning and the Kand Co stuff ugg they lag now that they are owned by wilton...and the october afternoon stuff will be here on wednesday....I DO NOT want to ship out the kits this month if something is missing as that is a old trait that is now banished from PDW...so if it is OK with all of you i will ship ALL the kits out on thursday the 18th maybe sooner.....it is just almost all of you need the OA stuff...and the main kit is still missing a few items {there was some companies that were closed during the thanksgiving week so it through things behind....but with the new way of running PDW this WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!

I start today with a house full of stuff...PDW stuff..christmas gifts for my polka dots....christmas decorations...and just plain stuff. How do all of you do it this time of year...with all the "stuff". It could drive you crazy..So as I said we are starting a New Year here at PDW...and with that new year comes some changes...SO read this part carefully...

1. starting with January's kit {which goes on sale dec 19th} all CURRENT subscriptions are VOID. If you would like to subscribe in the new year all you have to do is when you purchase your main kit just hit the subscription button. I did this for a couple of reasons, one is because with the new year we are going to have auto billing and would like everyone to start off on the same page...and we are now only going to OFFER a very limited number of subscriptions and just a few "main kits" we have to get back to the basics..at one time i thought it was great to have this HUGE kit club and even though i am honored beyond belief on how much all of you LOVE pdw...i have to do what is BEST for me and this company that has already LOST it's way...and i DO NOT want that to happen any further..we all know i LOVE to create...so with a smaller que..and i can once again grasp it and hold on to it...and if there comes a month where it is just me doing all the kiting i can handle it on my own...plus with a set number i can get a few months ahead of the game and order everything for the kits and get the POLKADOTS there kits in time to do there projects so they go live when the kits do so you can see how much fun you will have... I hope this all makes sense and that you understand why I am doing this...one of my GOALS in the new year is to get back on that horse and make this and it's community a AWESOME one...so if you stick with me THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart...

2. The main kit will NO longer come with a album and these to will be on a set amount..{i will try to order some for the whimsy store just FYI} and again the reason for this..is i think albums intimidate people..if your not a album maker and only a page maker then why would you order a kit with a album..and i want everyone to get the PDW experience work hard trying to hunt down the neatest and coolest stuff {doo-dahs} for PDW...and even though they look cute on books they look even cutier on layouts...I will still continue to have a project for the main kit though...it just will not be included in the kit itself...also this will bring the price of the kit down a little bit...whoo -hooo for that...{even though i always seem to go overboard}

3. We will still offer the main kit, a small add-on kit, and always a specialty kit {which is really limited now} the specialty kit will always come with a album or project and will continue to in the 40-55 dollar range....

4.The message board....i started this for many reasons...even though i was told by the BEST of friends NOT to...i ignored them...i am at this point going to KEEP the board but i do ask....if you TRULEY cannot get a hold of me via email then please feel free to leave a note on the board like hey michelle trying to get a hold of you...please NO bashing on the boards..it is just mean...and again this is why we are going back to the basics...smaller kit club with a family like community....

5. THANK YOU!!!! thank you for everything...and if your worried about NOT getting a subber spot please don't there will always be a few kits available to purchase...we might have a pre-purchase button up tomorrow {maybe}

this month PDW will not have a free workshop we will resume this in the new year

I will be teaching a holiday class at the pink on the 20th using the new acrylic bo-bunny album and the ultra cool sassafras lass holiday paper...

my life in a nutshell...the daily grind....i like how these colors look so nicely together...plus all the yummies...

umm YUM! of course anything pink i love and wait till you see the album for this kit..
