So Thanksgiving came and went. Goodness where did the month of November go!!! It was a crazy busy month, so worth it though. I am starting to believe that i crave madness. My day does not seem complete with out it..LOL... I have so much to be thankful for though...my hubby, my kids, my new grandson on the way, my home, my blackberry...and all of YOU...who make PDW fantastic every single month. SO THANK YOU!!!! Also before I get into december..I want to thank all my girls who came to holiday whimsy crop...we had such a blast...and I hope you are all looking forward to the after CHAW crop...{hint hint}...Ok so December is only a few short days away....eeekkk. For me december brings some changes into PDW. First off you will notice only one kit for this month. The main one, this will continue until february. Not only does it help your pocket book it slows me down a little bit in the crazy season. I have a full month let me tell you. Here at PDW we have allot going on internally...{good stuff} I know you will ALL benefit from it... Our inspiration gallery {polka dots}will be coming back...I have read all your emails on how much you LOVE inspiration...and your gonna love the new girls being added...also the blog will start being updated more with fun things maybe even some videos and tutorials...the web site in whole will not launch until mid january....hopefully fingers crossed in time for the february kit. we are going to continue to have the member gallery and message board.{ i really pondered these two}..I am really praying in the new year to really get these two main things working for your benefit.... I am also grateful that I will have a moderator and helper with PDW....you will have to scroll down the newsletter to find out who she is. he he he...I can just say that she has already helped me in SO many ways... she is a amazing person with SO much knoledge...so real quick back to the emails....THANK YOU for all your input and advice....I loved all of it...Well I know I have more to say...But I will save it for the blog...LOL..and again you all ROCK!

Meet Nicole...

I'm Nicole. I like all things crafty. I am passionate about telling our family's story through photos and journaling so we have them to reflect back on and help us remember where we came from and what God has brought us through. I enjoy the creative outlet it provides, as well. I have been scrapbooking for about 9 years (since right before the birth of our third child). I don't have one style that defines me. I like clean and simple designs all the way to "artsy" designs. It all depends on what message or feeling I want to convey for that particular layout or project. so that is Nicole's bio..but I personally want to tell you about nicole...Now I have never met her personally, but I feel like i know her like i know my dear friends...nicole has been a customer of pdw for LONG time...and has had to deal with trials that pdw brings her...almost every month { not anymore though...wink wink}...anywhoo to make a long story short I always loved all the advice she would give me...and she has so many awesome ideas....so i thought...hmmm we have some awesome changes going on around here...and the good lord knows I am only one person who most of the time takes on way to much for her own good...and so i finally decided to delegate some stuff..and nicole is the PERFECT person for the job...in the next few weeks nicole will have a email for pdw...it will be info@polkadotwhimsy.com {it will not be active for about anther week though just fyi}...you can consider nicole part of the pdw family...and I cannot wait to see what she does...you will see her from time to time on the blog..also she will be on the boards alot...but mostly a second eye for pdw...and I trust in the words that she speaks...I know like all of you she just wants pdw to be as successful as possiable...and that is my goal to...always has been...so thank you and WELCOME nicole..

So hmm what to do with stuff from the Dollar Tree...well let me show you....so you buy this star to hang up...but wait..you can cut the star off from the main part to create THIS....just cover with paper and decorate..
