PDW March main kit

Supplies needed:

Basic tool kit

Xacto knife

Sanding block

Mini glue dots

Paper distresser

Ok..lets get started….{ at the end of the project…you will have a TON of extras…that was my main goal for this kit club…to be able to do a project and then have leftovers for other things like layouts cards….anther mini book. and so-on…}

Prep Work:

You have 5 pages, 10 total front and back…you will need 8 pieces of pictures of stuff that inspires you…you can add more..like I cut magazines and stuff..and saved tags…Have FUN with this…really add stuff that YOU love and are inspired by…journal why this stuff inspires you..ok I cannot wait to see your creations..and all your inspirations…You can sand or ink your edges (I am a sander)..i used my paper distresser on this whole book Now we are ready to get started….

One more things…this is going to be a repetitive process in the book…TAKE the pattern papers that you have chosen and for all the inserts (inside pages) trim you papers to 3 ½ x 5 for the back ground piece…DO NOT put it over the holes…just right up to the holes and then trim off the excess on the side…make sense…and then for the strips they are 1 ½ x 6 ½ …on one of the pages I think it is a little wider…but that is the base of EACH page and I just turned the strip form like vertical to horizontal….

Cover and back cover:

{Supplies needed: 3 pattern paper, cover, paper flowers, felt flower, brad, and thickers}

  1. Trim a piece of pattern paper to 2 x 5 and adhere to the center of cover..remeber you to sand or use your distresser on the paper.
  2. Take a snippet of the pattern edge paper and adhere it under the other pattern paper..so you have a little scallop…
  3. Take a piece of pattern paper and trim it into a square. Adhere the square to the cover and layer the flower to the square. Adhere the flower to the cover.
  4. Now take your thickers…and adhere them to the cover..what ever title you would like..it is your book so it DOESN’T have to be about inspiration…
  5. back cover…just adhere the same pattern  paper to the back side.
