Ok..lets get started….{ at the end of the project…you will have a TON of extras…that was my main goal for this kit club…to be able to do a project and then have leftovers for other things like layouts cards….anther mini book. and so-on…}
Prep Work: you are going to start by inking or painting the edges with the color black..i used paint....and that you ate going to cover each side with pattern paper...except on the cover i used TWO pattern papers....NOW you are REALLY going to have to LOVE your exacto knife....ha ha ha ...and make sure your blade is NEW...{mine was dull..not so good..}..also you will need to punch the wholes as you go...

You are going to start by COVERING your pages front and back with pattern paper...on the fron cover though i did 2 patterns...also you can sand or ink all your edges..i sanded mine..i LOVE that look....If you are really not a fan of the xacto knife you can just paint your pages...here are the colors that match the papers.. DELTA PAINTS: black moroccan red autumn brown jubilee green FOLK ART PAINTS: APPLE BARREL PAINTS: banana

Cover 1.once your page is covered, cut three strips in various 1 inches in width in various lengths...adhere them to the front cover... 2. adhere your title...mine is "happy go lucky" but this is your book...so i will let you title it what you would like... 3. I used a mix of the stickers and the chipboard...once your title is on...adhere a little chipboad charcter.... |

page 1 {backside of cover} 1.take covered page and adhere a 2x3 peice of pattern paper to the page. 2. using the bracket stamp...stamp onto page..like the photo below...adhere your picture. 3. take the label stickers and adhere to the page. adhere a button to one of the label sticker. 4. finished page below |

Page 2 1. take covered insert and adhere photo. 2. take green frame and adhere it to the photo. tie a ribbon onto the frame...

still page 3 1. take the "smile rub on a snippet of the blue lace..and the circle star die cut..and a stapler.. 2. rub on the word smile ontot he diecut...staple a snippet onto the diecut. |

Page 4 1.take covered page..and adhere a 1x8 inch strip to the right side of page folding it over to the backside of the next page. 2. take the note paper and tear the bottom portion of it off. Ink the edges with black ink. Adhere it to the bottom of page. |

still page 4 1. adhere the photo to the page and place a chipboard friend onto the page. I also took a rub on {best friends} and placed it onto the chipboard. |

Page 5 {backside of 4} to make this ruffle you will need a strip of fabric {included in your kit} and a stapler...just fold the fabric once and staple and continue the process... folding the fabric up and stapling.. |

still page 5 adhere the photo to the page and then adhere the ruffle and then adhere a chip board shae { i uesed the flower} and a label sticker.. |

Page 6 1. take the covered page and adhere 2x10 inch strip to the page folding it over to the backside. 2. then take a 1x5 inch strip and adhere it to the pattern apper. |

still page 6 take the prima flower and break it apart...you can get more out of your supplies when you do this .. 1. take 2 flower petals.. 2. using the cardboard that the flower came on cut out a circle in a inbetween size. ink the edges of the cardboard. 3. layer it all togther the 2 petals the cardboard peice and a button. see pic below....

still page 6.. 1. adhere photo to the page. 2.adhere a snippet of ribbon to the page it is tucked a little under the photo. 3. adhere your layered flower.. |

Page 7 {backside of 6} 1.take a 4x6 peice of pattern paper and adhere to the covered page. adhere photo. 2. tear a peice of the yellow note paper ink the edges and adhere it onto the page. 3. adhere a chipboard friend.

page 8 1. take a 4x6 piece of pattern paper and adhere to the covered page. 2. take a 2x4 piece of pattern paper and adhere it onto the page..overlapping a little bit of it onto the other pattern paper.. |

still page 8 1. adhere photo. 2. take the "note to self" paper and tear off the top part. adhere it to the page. 3. take a rubon of your choice and adhere it to the torn paper. 4. take the chipboard border and adhere it to the top of the page. |

page 9 {backside of 8} 1. take covered page and adhere the ki sheer paper to the page. trim it up.but so the scallop part is coming up off the top..as shown in the photo...

still page 9 1. take the rest of the yellow note paper and adhere to the page.. 2. adhere photo to the page. 3. adhere the camera tag...tot he page and then adhere 2 label stickers tot he camera tag. 4. place a few buttons onto the labels. and a chipboard friend. |

page 10 1. since thei page is LONG..i adhered 2 photos to the page. 2.adhere some ribbon trim to the bottom of the page. I used the blue loop one and tucked it under the photo a little bit. 3. take the prima flower petals {remember you took it apart} and create anther flower with it. I also used some pattern paper.

JOURNAL TAGS... now i have a sizzix die machine and this die..IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DIE MACHINE NO WORRIES...just trim up some cardstock to make your tags..i made 5 tags and used front and back and then stuck them inbetween the pages..i alos embellished them with all my extras... i love making these little things...

FINAL STEP.. just pile your book together and add the rings.....and ribbon..YIPPIE YOUR DONE..now go make some layouts with your leftovers... he he he.. xo xo m |
